The City of Homer released their Draft 20-year Comprehensive Non-Motorized Transportation Plan this month. Last fall, we collectively submitted hundreds of site specific comments sharing first hand experience of streetscapes in town that are unsafe or unenjoyable for a walker or biker and need improvement. Now, we have until Oct. 10th to provide comments in response to the draft plan. Attend the public meeting on the 26th this month to make sure your comments are heard or submit them directly to homer.transportationplan@kinneyeng.com.
